what do you mean too large to be used on most foums? you dont need to attach or manually upload it, it is already hosted on my Imageshack for everyone to use, just need to use the [img] code.

Just use [IMG ]http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/459/300iiixd2.gif[/IMG]

but remove the space from the first [IMG ] to make it just [IMG]

Its big....its a HUGE file.

Anyone browsing a thread with that signature would need to download a 1 megabit file basically and that would significantly slow down most people's PCs.

Text is very small. Unless you get into a serious essay, most forum posts are less than 20k. So loading a 1 mb signature for a 20k text post doesnt make much sense ;P

The reason avatars and sigs are usually limited in size (pixel and filewise) is because it slows down browsing and can crash or freeze slower PCs.

Asthetics will not beat user friendliness is very important if you want your product to be widely used.

So if you want your sig to be usable, it really needs to get cutdown in filesize.
